She worked briefly in corporate IT/healthcare related jobs before attending medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She completed Internal Medicine residency at Dell Medical School at UT Austin. Since residency, she has worked in both the hospital and clinic settings in perioperative medicine, ensuring her clinic patients are optimized for elective surgeries and overseeing medical management of those patients as a hospitalist. She started her own DPC practice in 2022. Dr. Marino was initially board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2019, and she participates in MOC. She also works as a physician collaborator with NuroCoach, an integrative mental health company. She is a volunteer consulting doctor for the APRN (Abortion Pill Reversal Network).
